Cameron's 2nd Birthday Party

People always told me how fast time would fly by, but I didn't understand what they meant until I had a child of my own.  Cameron has grown up way too fast.  It seems like yesterday that we were rushing to the hospital to meet our new baby.  Now it is two years later and he just lights up my life.  Everyday is something different and time for a new laugh.  Cameron is so funny now and has his own personality.  He tells us what he wants to and what he is NOT going to do!  He has major attitude (not sure where he gets that) and is also very sweet and loving.  I don't remember life without him.

With that said, his birthday party was fun.  We invited some of his friends and we brought lots of toys outside for them to play with.  It was a simple party, but sometimes those are the best.  I also figured out if you have the party outside there is no clean up!!  Lesson learned.  Cameron was off his schedule so it took a little while for him to open up, but after the pizza, cake and ice cream kicked in, he was off and running.  Here's a few pictures from the party.

Happy Easter!! (2010)

For Easter we went to church with DeWayne's mom and then had the family over for dinner.  Cameron was so cute in his gray pinstripe suit and pink shirt.  We didn't really get to go to an official Easter egg hunt this year since Cameron had strep throat, so we did a make shift one in the front yard.  It served it's purpose.  Cameron had enough gifts to sort through anyway.  He received 3 Easter baskets!!  The child is spoiled.  Can anyone say it's time for another.  The grandparents really need someone else to spread around the wealth.

It's Egg Hunting Time

Got 'em all.... Let's go!

New Swingset

Cameron got a new swingset for his 2nd birthday.  It took his daddy and his granddaddy a total of 14 hours over 3 days to install it.  He was a little cautious at first, but now he's climbing up the ladder and going down the slide by himself.  He loves it!

Snow Day

Since it NEVER snows in Tennessee (at least not more than an inch) we had to get out and enjoy the day.  Cameron didn't like how his feet sunk down into the snow, so he just wanted to walk on the sidewalk.  Richard decided to relive his childhood and go sledding down our front yard.  I had to get pictures of that one!!

At least Callie was having fun!

A day at the park

So the weatherman said it was going to be 60 degrees and sunny (so unusual for January), well he lied!!!!  We were excited about going to the park, but it was freezing.  We did stay long enough to play and get some pictures.  Next time I should check before packing us all up for the park.  Oh well.

Big Boy Slide

On our 1 mile walk.  No, he didn't walk the entire time, but it was a long way for those little legs.

Whee!!

Even Daddy took a turn!
